I’m fairly new to the role, being here for just over 5 weeks.

The location of the club and the challenge to improve the greens.

If you could only eat one meal from the club menu forever, what would it be?
Steak and veg!

Savoury, as I haven’t got a big sweet tooth.

Favourite movie or show of all time?
Point Break would have to be my favourite movie of all time.

What’s one movie everyone should watch at least once?
The Cat in the Hat — very funny!

How did you get into greenkeeping?
I loved playing golf as a kid and it drew me to greenkeeping.

What goes into getting a green running true?
Laser-levelling and continuous mowing and verti-cutting

What’s one thing you couldn’t live without as a greenkeeper?
Water!

What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Watching the greens improve or preparing for major events.

What’s the biggest challenge in keeping the greens consistent year-round?
The weather conditions!
