Having been part of the club for more than four years, Jade loves the fun, relaxed atmosphere at Club Mermaid that makes every shift enjoyable. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her soaking up the Gold Coast lifestyle by the beach or discovering a new local café.

What’s your role at Club Mermaid?
I work mainly in the bar, however I also help out in the bistro too. 

How long have you been part of the Club Mermaid team?
I’ve been at Club Mermaid for just over 4 years.

What’s your favourite part of working at the club?
Definitely working with the team, it’s only small so we’re all close and it makes coming to work a lot of fun.

In three words, how would you describe Club Mermaid?
Friendly, relaxing, fun!

If you could only eat one meal from the club menu forever, what would it be?
The chicken boscaiola

Sweet or savoury — which one wins every time?
Sweet, 100%!

Not a coffee drinker, but I do like a matcha.

What’s your favourite music to listen to on shift?
I’m very into country music at the moment.

Off the Clock
Favourite way to spend a day off on the Gold Coast?
Going for a walk and spending my day at the beach, or going to try a new café or restaurant.
